Unclaimed Shares, Dividends in IEPF or other Unclaimed amounts

When the unclaimed shares and dividends have been transferred to IEPF due to non-encashment of dividend for 7 consecutive years or more. OR when the shares / dividend warrants are lost / misplaced or destructed or not received due to old or incomplete address on the company records.

Issue of Duplicate Share Certificate

 

An act of requesting a fresh certificate issue as a Duplicate in lieu of lost share certificate(s) due to transit, misplacement or destruction.

Non-receipt of Fresh / Bonus share / Units of Mutual Fund

 

An act of requesting share / unit certificate(s) from a company when shareholder(s) / unit holder(s) have not received share certificate(s) / unit(s) due to change of address or certificates not exchanged at the time of corporate action : surrender , split, capital reduction, merger or demerger of the companies takes place.

Name Change / Mismatch

An act of requesting a change in the name in the company records in lieu of the events such as minor to major, marriage or technical errors.

Transmission of Shares

 

An act of transference of title of shares of a shareholder due to various events such as death, inheritance, bankruptcy, insolvency, lunacy, marriage or by any other lawful means other than transfer. On registration of the transmission of shares, the person becomes the shareholder of the company and is entitled to all rights as a shareholder. 

Issue of Duplicate Share Certificate cum Transmission

 

An act of requesting a fresh certificate issue as a Duplicate in lieu of lost share certificate(s)in transit, misplacement or destruction where original shareholder(s) have expired. The legal heir applies for the fresh issue and requests transmission in his/her/their name.

Signature Update / Mismatch

An act of requesting a change in the Signature in the company records when it has altered in time or differs from company records

Redemption of Mutual Fund Units

 

An act of requesting redemption of Mutual Fund units in all or in part. This is subject to lock in period in certain cases.

Transfer of Shares

 

An act of transfer of title of share certificate from one person (transferor) to another (transferee). Transfer of shares is needed when one holds shares in physical form. *Discontinued 31-03-2019
